Her formal foray into fashion design began during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program when she joined the SAED (Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) initiative and focused on fashion design training. Through this program, she developed her technical skills in tailoring, design, pattern-making, and draping. Seyitan then completed several online fashion courses to refine her craft further, solidifying her designer expertise. 2014, after completing her first formal training, Seyitan officially launched Elan Fashion. The brand quickly made its mark, gaining recognition in prestigious fashion showcases. In October 2014, Seyitan participated in the Athlone Mofanny Fashion Show and the Veba Prints Runway Show, where she won the coveted title of Best Designer of the Night.
